our seventh anniversary.

Wow. 7 years. I can't believe that 7 years ago we were newlyweds on a high from one of the best weeks of our lives. The few days leading up to our union, our perfect wedding day and amazing honeymoon reminded us that although a short night away was definitely needed, we SO need a vacation, just the 2 of us. Maybe one of these years we'll get around to it!

Matt and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Many thanks to my sisters and my mom for helping us out with the boys! That was very much appreciated. It was so nice to have an enjoyable dinner out and a few drinks! My favorite of the evening was a cocktail called "Tickled Pink", which was made with X Rated Fusion Liqueur. YUM. If you like sweet, then this is for you. Matt even liked it and ordered one for himself! A little tipsy, we headed to a cool hotel where we played a few rounds of pool. Fun times!



Our anniversary also happened to fall on Meyer's 15 month birthday! Happy 15 months to our big boy...who is really just a peanut at 19 pounds, 15 ounces and 31 inches tall. When I was at the zoo last week, a woman actually thought he was 9 months old...just goes to show what a little guy we have!
